Job DescriptionTe Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunityWe are seeking to appoint a Lecturer / Senior Lecturer in Construction Management, specifically Construction Informatics, to join the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering in the Faculty of Engineering and Design.In this role, you will undertake high-quality teaching and research in construction management, with a particular emphasis on construction informatics, and serve the Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering, Faculty of Engineering & Design, and the wider University through academic citizenship. You will be expected to contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, supervise research students, and develop a strong research programme that attracts external funding and produces impactful publications.Key responsibilities include:Delivering research-informed, industry-relevant teaching in construction management and construction informaticsDesigning and enhancing curricula to meet the needs of the profession and accreditation standards.Incorporating emerging technologies and sustainable practices into teaching and research.Supervising honours, masters, and doctoral students.Establishing and maintaining a high-impact research programme, with an emphasis on construction informatics, including areas such as digital engineering, BIM, digital twins, artificial intelligence, automation, information management and related technologies.Publishing in top-tier journals, contributing to design standards and guidelines, and presenting at conferences.Engaging with industry, government, and technical societies to ensure relevance and application of research.Contributing to service roles within the Department, Faculty, and University.This is a permanent, 40 hours per week, full-time contract. Job DescriptionTe Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity The Human Health Research Coordinator (HHRC) is responsible for effectively coordinating human health research studies, collaborating closely with PIs, research nurses, midwives, and other research staff. The HHRC will ensure the delivery of project objectives by coordinating all aspects of human health research activity, monitoring timelines, regulatory compliance, and reporting to the Team Lead Human Health Research Coordinator.
