Job DescriptionTe Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunityWe are looking for an organised, proactive, and relationship-focused Programmes Coordinator to join our Academic Services team.This is a varied and rewarding role where you'll work at the heart of academic administration, supporting key academic processes that underpin the student journey. From coordinating scholarships and prizes to supporting programme regulations, committee activities, and important student milestones, your work will help ensure students and academic staff receive high-quality support and service.You'll collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders across the University, including academic leaders, programme advisers, central Academic Services, the Scholarships Office, and Student Hubs. No two days will be the same, and you'll have the opportunity to contribute to projects, process improvements, and initiatives that make a real difference.This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced administrator who enjoys managing complex processes, building strong relationships, and delivering excellent service in a fast-paced environment.Key responsibilities include:Coordinating academic administration and regulatory processes across the facultySupporting scholarship, prize, and award processes, including application administration and committee coordinationProviding secretariat support for academic committees, boards, and examiner meetingsCoordinating programme and course maintenance activities, including regulation amendments and calendar updatesSupporting student academic milestone activities and complex enrolment processesBuilding strong relationships with academic and professional staff across the UniversityContributing to faculty projects, events, and continuous improvement initiativesDelivering high-quality customer service and administrative support to a diverse range of stakeholdersThis is a fixed-term role for 17 months, working 18.75 hours per week.
