    AUT is now recruiting our 2027 team of Residential Assistants (RAs) for Akoranga Student Village on the North Campus.  We are a fun and dynamic team, passionate in supporting our resident’s safety and wellbeing as they transition smoothly into shared living, getting to know each other and making life-long friends.

    This is a fantastic opportunity to live where you work and to get the most out of your AUT student experience by helping and supporting others.  Typically, the role is 30 hours per fortnight and covers day to day administration and reception, leadership for resident groups, and the organisation and delivery of fun and exciting events for our residents.  This role is also key in supporting our residents to stay well, healthy, and safe while enjoying their time in the Village.

    Successful applicants must be studying at AUT, have lived in halls of residence before and are required to live on site in the village. Our Residential Assistants are usually in their second or third year of tertiary study.
