    • 5 weeks annual leave +5 days university holidays
    • Permanent, 37.5 hours per week

    • Salary $75,923 - $97,000 p.a, based on skills and experience

    Āu Mahi | What You Will Do
    As an Associate Test Analyst, you will play an important role in ensuring our digital products and systems deliver a high-quality experience for our users. Working alongside our Digital Services teams, you will undertake both manual and automated testing across in-house and vendor-supplied software.

    You will create and execute test plans, test scripts and regression tests, document test outcomes and defects, and work closely with developers, project teams and other stakeholders to identify, reproduce and resolve issues. Contributing to testing usability and accessibility, and to continuous improvements in our testing practices.

    This is an excellent opportunity to develop your testing capability while learning from experienced colleagues and working across a diverse range of digital projects.

    Mōu | Who You Are

    You are a collaborative and analytical professional with a keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

    • A minimum of 1 year experience in a software test analyst role undertaking functional testing
    • A bachelor’s degree (NZQA Level 7) in Computer Science, Commerce or a similar discipline
    • Familiarity with modern software testing tools and experience in at least one testing domain, such as API, browser-based UI, application security, contract or performance testing
    • Experience producing acceptance criteria, test scripts, test plans, reports and defect documentation
    • Experience working within agile methodologies, including Scrum and/or Kanban
    • Strong problem-solving, analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team, manage changing priorities and deliver to deadlines
    • An ITQSB certification and competency in te reo Māori me ōna tikanga would be advantageous
