    The role/Te mahi

    With several team members progressing into new roles through promotion, exciting opportunities have opened for three Administrators to join our dynamic teams supporting the Faculty of Medicine.

    These high-visibility, on-campus roles are integral to delivering exceptional teaching and learning experiences for students and staff. They play a vital role in ensuring teaching activities and administrative operations are executed efficiently, effectively, and seamlessly.

    From coordinating undergraduate programme administration to supporting departmental initiatives and operational activities, your work will help create a positive experience for both staff and students. You will also contribute to shared administrative services, including reception, office support, and general administration, while building strong collaborative relationships across the University.

    You will be a motivated, self-directed professional with proven experience as a high-performing administrator. Dedicated to supporting staff and undergraduate students, you possess exceptional organisational skills and the ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload. A natural relationship builder, you foster positive partnerships through a collaborative and collegial approach to working with others.

    Key skills and attributes for success in this role include:

    • Competent using Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
    • Demonstrate a strong work ethic, exercise sound judgment, discretion, and confidentiality.
    • Confidence to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
    • An adaptable, solutions focused approach, with a commitment to continuous improvement
    • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic, fast paced setting

    We have two full-time (37.5 hours per week), permanent positions and one part-time (30 hours per week), permanent position available. All roles are based in Ōtepoti, Dunedin.

    The appointment range for this role is Level 4 - $63,508 to $68,185. Top of Range $73,640.

    We are also seeking candidates for Kaiwhakahaere Tari positions, which support the implementation of our Māori Strategic Framework.
