    The role/Te mahi

    As the Divisional Finance Manager for Sciences, you will provide best in class financial support and advice to key client portfolios. This role will strengthen client portfolios finances, support effective decision making and contribute to the overall success of the university, to achieve the University's Vision and Mission.

    CA Qualified with sound commercial acumen, you can translate business performance drivers into financial outcomes. This finance partnering role requires excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with individuals at all levels.

    You will be self-driven - leading and engaging a team to achieve operational outcomes and build strong relationships with your client group with a focus on service excellence.

    We are looking for an individual with experience in:
    • Financial advice and guidance to non-finance senior managers.
    • Complex financial modelling with strong analytical, and critical thinking skills.
    • Budgeting and forecasting – able to identify trends and efficiencies.

    This is a permanent, full-time (37.5 hours per week) position, located in Ōtepoti, Dunedin.

    You must have the right to live and work in New Zealand to apply for this position.

    The appointment range for this role is $107,320 to $115,834, Top of Range $124,348.
