Summary
Coordinate the admission, enrolment and support of inbound and outbound exchange students, ensuring a seamless international study experience.
Mō te tūka | The role
Join us in this varied and rewarding role based in our Admission and Enrolment team, where you'll provide end-to-end administration and support for Lincoln University's Study Abroad and Exchange programmes.
You'll work closely with students, academic staff and international partner institutions to ensure inbound and outbound exchange students receive outstanding support throughout their journey – from application and enrolment through to programme completion.
Some tasks of the role include:
- Assessing applications and coordinating admissions and enrolment processes for exchange students.
- Providing advice and support to inbound and outbound students throughout their exchange journey.
- Liaising with international partner institutions regarding student nominations, applications and academic records.
- Coordinating orientation, course advice and student engagement activities.
- Managing student records, credit transfers and compliance requirements.
- Promoting Study Abroad and Exchange opportunities and supporting continuous programme improvement.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, coordinating multiple priorities and helping students make the most of their international education experience. You'll contribute to delivering exceptional student service while supporting strong partnerships with universities around the world.
Mahi & Wāhi / Utu | Work pattern, location & salary
This fixed term role covers parental leave from October 2026 – October 2027, based at our Lincoln Campus and works 37.5 hours per week (1.0 FTE).
Kā tino Pūkeka/Whēako | Essential skills/experience for the role
You will bring:
- A relevant tertiary qualification, or an equivalent combination of experience, training and education.
- Experience in student administration, international education, study abroad, student mobility, or a related higher education environment.
- Strong customer service skills and experience providing high-quality advice and support to students and staff.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Experience interpreting policies and procedures, maintaining accurate records, and using student management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
