Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity

We are looking for two Timetabling and Enrolment Advisers to join our collaborative and high-performing team.

In this role, you will play a key part in shaping the student experience behind the scenes — ensuring timetables are well designed, enrolment processes run smoothly, and students can access the courses they need without unnecessary barriers.

You’ll work across both timetabling and enrolment, using your analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to interpret complex information, resolve issues, and support the delivery of a seamless academic experience.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with systems, solving puzzles, and collaborating with others to make things work better for students and staff alike.

    We have two opportunities:

    1. Full-time, 37.5 hours per week role on a permanent contract.
    2. Full-time, 37.5 hours per week role on a fixed-term contract for 17 months.

The salary range for this role is $73,400 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

For more detailed information, please refer to the Position Description.

    Key responsibilities include:

    • Supporting the development and delivery of academic timetables that optimise student experience and space utilisation
    • Coordinating with faculties to ensure teaching requirements, room allocations, and staff availability are accurately reflected
    • Setting up and maintaining enrolment controls, and resolving related issues
    • Troubleshooting timetable and enrolment challenges, ensuring timely and effective resolution
    • Processing enrolment support activities and assisting faculties with complex cases
    • Collaborating with Programme Advisers, academic staff, and service teams across the University
    • Monitoring enrolment patterns and making updates to improve accuracy and efficiency
    • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance systems, processes, and service delivery

Your work will directly contribute to a smooth and positive experience for thousands of students each semester.
