We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Project Delivery Office within Information Technology Services (ITS). In this influential role, you will lead the successful delivery of complex, high-value ICT projects and programmes that support the University's strategic objectives and digital transformation journey.
You will provide leadership across project lifecycles, build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, mentor project management colleagues, and contribute to the ongoing improvement of project governance frameworks, delivery methodologies.
Salary will be based on skills, knowledge and experience brought to the position. This is a full-time role (37.5 hours per week), based on our Hillcrest Campus. Ko wai koe? – Who are you?
You are an experienced project management professional with strong track record delivering large-scale ICT projects and programmes in complex environments. You bring strong leadership skills, commercial acumen, and the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of an organisation.
You'll bring a relevant tertiary qualification and recognised project management certification, along with extensive experience delivering complex ICT projects and programmes (e.g. PRINCE2, PMP, Agile or Scrum). You'll be confident managing vendors, budgets, risks and governance requirements, while building strong relationships with senior stakeholders and project teams. A collaborative approach, excellent communication skills, and a passion for continuous improvement will set you apart.
