    Job Description:

    •  Play a key role in supporting student success through high-quality admissions, enrolment, program administration, and student enquiry support within AUT’s School of Education.
    • Be part of a collaborative School Student Administration Team, working closely with academic staff, Programme Leaders, Student Services, and wider AUT teams.
    • Contribute to Initial Teacher Education programs, supporting highly regulated compliance processes where accuracy, professionalism, and attention to detail are essential.
    • Permanent, full-time role based primarily at AUT’s North Campus, with occasional support across the City or South campuses as required.

    The Opportunity | Te Whiwhinga mahi

    This is a full time permanent role in the School of Education, based primarily at AUT’s North Campus. The role supports day-to-day student and programme administration, including admissions, enrolments, student records, enquiries, compliance processes, assessment setup, graduation checks, and wider School administration support.

    A key challenge and opportunity is supporting Initial Teacher Education programmes, which involve detailed and highly regulated compliance processes. The role also contributes to improving administration systems and supporting student-focused service delivery.

    The role contributes to Te Aronui by supporting Te Tiriti-aligned, equitable, inclusive, and mana-enhancing outcomes for students, staff, tangata whenua, and tangata Tiriti.

    To be successful in this role, you will have:

    • Experience in academic administration or a similar student/program administration role, preferably within the tertiary education sector.
    • Experience using student management systems, maintaining accurate records, and supporting admissions, enrolments, compliance, and student administration processes.
    • Strong Microsoft Office skills, excellent written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
    • A tertiary qualification is required.
