    We are seeking a stores coordinator to join the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences Central Stores team.  

    The Store Coordinator is responsible for procurement, inventory, and management of inwards goods activities on our Grafton Campus. This role is front facing with a high degree of customer service and communications. If you are an energetic and outgoing person who enjoys building relationships with external stakeholders, then this could be the job for you.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Inventory maintenance of all goods in the store/stockroom, including consumables and chemicals.
    • Receiving inward goods, notifying recipients, and facilitating distribution to recipients.
    • Manage the ongoing operational and management requirements for the assigned facility.
    • Understand and comply with containment requirements for stock held within the Central Stores Facility
    • Ensure safe storage, covered by these regulations, and ensure correct record keeping.
    • Ensures that all Health and Safety operating procedures and regulations are adhered to

    This is a fulltime, permanent position with scheduled hours onsite. These hours will be between 7:00am to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday. Due to the nature of the role, a level of physical fitness is required, and remote working is not available for this position.

    The salary range for this position is between $56,550 - $62,900 depending on skills and experience

    The ideal candidate will:

    • Be reliable/dependable
    • Have strong organisational skills
    • Bring strong relationship building skills
    • Be a clear communicator, both written and verbal
    • Have prior experience working in a stores and stock control role
    • Previous inwards/outward goods experience
    • Have a current first aid qualification (or willing to obtain)
    • Have a current forklift licence (or willing to obtain)
