Job Description:
Join our Library Services team and help organise and improve access to library collections and resources.
Gain practical, hands-on experience working with library collections.
Flexible weekday hours available between 8.30am and 5.00pm.
Ngā kōrero mō te tūranga –About the role
Supporting our Collections, Strategy and Access Team, we are looking for motivated and detail-oriented individuals to assist our collection management activities.
You’ll play a key part in reviewing and organising library materials to ensure the collection stays current and easy to access. Following Library Services guidelines, you’ll help identify items that need attention and assist with shelving and maintaining an orderly, welcoming environment.
These roles are fixed term positions from late October to Friday 18 December 2026 and will be supporting collections work in Te Manawa.
Salary will be appointed at $52,687 (per annum, pro-rata) based on skills, knowledge and experience brought to the position.
It is essential that candidates provide a schedule of available work hours as part of their application. Candidates must be able to commit to a minimum of 15 hours per week. Working hours can be flexible but will fall between 8.30am-5pm Monday to Friday.
