Deliver exceptional frontline service and student engagement support, helping students, prospective students and visitors navigate their university journey.
Mō te tūka | The role
Join our Wheako Tauira | Student Experience team and be at the heart of creating positive experiences for prospective students, current students, whānau, and visitors.
Working in our Student and Visitor Centre, you'll help deliver welcoming, responsive, and high-quality support while contributing to initiatives that enhance engagement, recruitment, retention, and student success.
Some tasks of the role include:
- Providing professional frontline support through in-person, phone, email, and digital channels.
- Responding to, triaging, and resolving student and prospective student enquiries.
- Supporting student experience and engagement activities across the student journey.
- Maintaining CRM records and monitoring service requests through to resolution.
- Updating student communication channels and supporting key communications initiatives.
- Contributing to knowledge resources, process improvements, and digital service enhancements.
This is a varied and people-focused role where you'll combine customer service, administration, communication, and relationship-building skills to support students throughout their Lincoln University journey.
Mahi & Wāhi / Utu | Work pattern, location & salary
This fixed term role covers parental leave and concludes in July 2027. Hours of work are Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 1:00 pm (22.5 hours per week), at our Lincoln Campus.
The salary for this position is $59,000 per annum, pro rata to part-time hours.

To be successful in the role you will have
- A relevant qualification and/or experience in a customer service, administration, or education environment.
- Experience using CRM systems (Dynamics experience preferred) and confidence working with multiple digital systems.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- The ability to research, analyse, and provide accurate information in response to complex enquiries.
- Demonstrated initiative, sound judgement, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
