Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington is currently recruiting an Events Assistant to join Te Kauhanganui Tātai Ture - Faculty of Law on a casual basis to support Faculty Events.
Key responsibilities:
- Supporting the Events Coordinator including setting up and packing down event spaces, preparing event materials (name badges, signage), providing on-site support during events.
- Assisting with logistics academic seminars and workshops.
- Facilitating regular weekly and ad hoc events.
Ō pūmanawa - About you
You will be a highly organised and adaptable individual who is able to problem solve and is detail oriented.
Key requirements:
- Ability to take direction and work independently to complete tasks and support event delivery.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
