Lead accommodation operations, facilities, staff and administration to deliver a safe, welcoming and high-quality student living experience.
Mō te tūka | The role
As our Accommodation Logistics Coordinator, you'll play a key role in ensuring our accommodation facilities operate smoothly while creating a positive experience for students living on campus. Based in our Accommodation Services team, you'll lead a team of Housekeepers and Night Managers, oversee facilities and maintenance activities, coordinate accommodation operations, and provide operational support that contributes to a safe and supportive student community.
Some tasks of the role include:
- Leading and supporting customer service delivery and continuous improvement initiatives
- Coordinating facilities management, maintenance, cleaning programmes and accommodation inspections
- Managing accommodation operations, including procurement, inventory and conference support
- Leading, supervising and developing accommodation staff
- Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external service providers
- Providing operational, administrative and Health & Safety support across Accommodation Services
- Supporting accommodation-related events and activities, including occasional work outside normal business hours
- Providing after-hours operational support, including responding to critical incidents and assisting Accommodation Managers with on-call and emergency response requirements
This is a hands-on, fully campus-based role with plenty of variety, working alongside students, staff and external providers to maintain high service standards and support the day-to-day running of our accommodation environment. The role also requires flexibility to support occasional evening and weekend events, and participation in after-hours response arrangements to help ensure the safety and wellbeing of students and the smooth operation of accommodation services.

This permanent role is based at our Lincoln Campus and works 37.5 hours per week (1.0 FTE).
The salary for this position is $70,000 - $78,000 per annum, depending on experience.

To be successful in the role you will have
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, hospitality, facilities management or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Experience in accommodation, facilities, operational or similar service environments, including administrative coordination
- Proven ability to lead or supervise staff and work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds
- Strong organisational, administrative and computer skills, with excellent attention to detail
- Sound problem-solving skills, the ability to manage competing priorities, and experience working in a fast-paced environment
- A commitment to providing outstanding service, building positive relationships, and contributing to a collaborative team culture aligned with Lincoln University values
- Flexibility for occasional work outside normal business hours, including evenings and weekends.
