    Job Description:

    Lead and deliver a dynamic leadership scholarship programme, developing future leaders through coaching, learning experiences, and community impact projects.

    Mō te tūka | The role

    As our Scholarships Programme Coordinator, you will lead the delivery, promotion, and ongoing development of the Future Leader Scholarship Programme, creating meaningful opportunities for students to build their leadership capability and contribute to the University and wider community. You'll work closely with scholars, staff, industry partners, and stakeholders to deliver engaging learning experiences, oversee leadership projects, and ensure programme outcomes align with Lincoln University's strategic priorities.

    Some tasks of the role include:

    • Leading and coordinating the Future Leader Scholarship application and selection process.
    • Designing and delivering leadership workshops, activities, hui, and development opportunities for scholars.
    • Monitoring, evaluating, and reporting on programme performance and outcomes.
    • Building and maintaining relationships with industry, sponsors, professional bodies, and community partners.
    • Overseeing scholar-led projects and providing coaching, mentoring, and guidance to project leaders.
    • Supporting wider scholarship administration activities, including applicant communications, records management, and student enquiries.

    Mahi & Wāhi / Utu | Work pattern, location & salary

    This permanent role is based at our Lincoln Campus and works 37.5 hours per week (1.0 FTE).

    The salary for this position is $80,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on experience.

    Kā tino Pūkeka/Whēako | Essential skills/experience for the role

    To be successful in the role you will have:

    • A relevant tertiary qualification, ideally in adult education, organisational psychology, leadership, or a related field.
    • Experience planning, implementing, and coordinating programmes, ideally within an education, leadership, or development environment.
    • Strong knowledge of leadership principles and experience facilitating learning in adult learning settings.
    • Excellent communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
    • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing needs.
    • High levels of professionalism, integrity, and discretion when working with confidential information.
    • Experience in project management, coaching, or leadership development programmes would be highly regarded.
