Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington is currently recruiting an Mata Ahupae - Administrator to join Te Kura Tātai Ture - School of Law's professional team on a permanent, full-time contract.
Key responsibilities:
- Participate in and provide all aspects of administration and front-line support services in the work area. This includes providing back up in peak work periods or when cover is required, including supporting events within the Faculty.
- Maintain knowledge of and be able to operate the University management systems and technologies, as required.
- Support the administration of Faculty websites, event calendars, and other communications, ensuring information is accurate and up to date whilst adhering to University guidelines.
- Provide administration support to one or more of the work area committees and/or projects, as and when required.
- Provide any other assistance as and when required by the manager.

You will be a motivated, customer-focused individual with strong attention to detail who can take the initiative and provide excellent administration and support within a team.
Key requirements:
- Experience in office administration.
- Ability to work effectively in a frontline, client focused environment.
- Outstanding people and communication skills including the ability to adjust to different audiences.
