We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Operations Support & Projects Coordinator to join our Operations Support team within the Faculty of Health and Environmental Sciences.
Reporting to the Manager – Operations Support, this role provides a blend of project coordination, executive support and operational administration for the Faculty Leadership Team. You will support the planning and implementation of strategic initiatives, coordinate faculty and school events and projects, and ensure the smooth delivery of a wide range of operational activities.
This is a varied and fast-paced role where no two days are the same. You'll work closely with senior leaders, professional and academic staff, central AUT teams and external partners and suppliers to help achieve faculty objectives and deliver meaningful outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
Coordinating faculty and school projects, initiatives, conferences and events.
Providing high-level executive and administrative support to members of the Faculty Leadership Team.
Managing diaries, meetings, travel arrangements and correspondence.
Preparing agendas, minutes, reports and briefing materials.
Monitoring and coordinating key actions, deadlines and communications.
Supporting recruitment, onboarding and people-related administrative processes.
Assisting with financial administration, purchase orders, invoices and reconciliations.
Gathering information and undertaking research to support strategic decision-making.
Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational effectiveness.
