- 0.5 FTE part time role (18.75 hours per week)
- Fixed term until June 2028

Āu Mahi | What You Will Do
In this pivotal role, you will coordinate the review and development of academic policies and procedures, ensuring they reflect best practice and comply with national requirements. You will also support the delivery of academic projects initiated by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Academic (DVCA), contributing to strategic initiatives and academic quality assurance. This includes preparing reports, supporting academic committees, and collaborating across the University to implement recommendations from audits and reviews.
Mōu | Who You Are
You will be an experienced academic policy or project coordinator with at least 3 years' experience in the tertiary education or related sector. You will also have:
- A postgraduate qualification (NZQA Level 8)
- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A sound understanding of academic quality assurance and the NZ tertiary education sector
- Proven ability to build partnerships and work collaboratively across a large organisation
- A professional, detail-oriented approach with strong problem-solving skills
- A commitment to upholding the values and tikanga of mana whenua, Ngāi Tūāhuriri
- Competency in te reo Māori me ōna tikanga is an advantage

You will be part of the Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Academic, reporting to the Dean (Academic Governance), and working closely with academic leaders and professional staff across the University.
