Are you an experienced team leader with a strong background in financial and administrative operations? AUT is looking for a Student Fees & Operations Manager to lead a dedicated team responsible for delivering accurate, timely, and student-friendly financial services across key university processes.
This role is central to ensuring the smooth delivery of core administrative functions, focusing on the management of student fees and related compliance and support services. You'll lead a team that works closely with students, staff, and external agencies to provide clear, consistent, and professional assistance throughout the student lifecycle.
Nga haepapa matua | Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support a team delivering high-quality administrative services.
- Oversee student financial processes, including fee setup, invoicing, and debt management.
- Ensure systems and processes are student-relevant, robust and efficient, and easy to navigate.
- Monitor service delivery and contribute to improvements in systems and workflows.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and university policies.

- Proven management experience in financial and administrative operations, ideally in a tertiary education or service-based environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and efficiency.
- Proven ability to proactively lead and support a team in a busy customer service setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
