Are you ready to be part of a transformational journey that uplifts student success and equity at AUT? We're seeking a passionate, proactive, and values-driven individual to join the Faculty of Health and Environmental Sciences SCA team on a fixed-term appointment as our next Academic Quality Coordinator (Special Consideration).

This is more than a coordination role—it's a chance to contribute meaningfully to AUT's Ki Uta Ki Tai vision, a holistic, mana-enhancing approach to student success that values enduring relationships, cultural capability, and equity of opportunity. As part of the Faculty SCA Team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that students navigating special consideration applications are supported with empathy, efficiency, and excellence.

Nga haepapa matua | Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day management of special consideration processes in collaboration with programme administrators.
  • Apply analytical thinking to student data, reporting tools, and systems to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Provide exceptional service and communication to students and staff, upholding the values of manaakitanga and ōritetanga.
  • Act as a trusted team member, contributing to strategic initiatives and continuous improvement. What You will Bring: • Proven coordination and administration experience, with a sharp eye for detail and process improvement.
  • Strong relationship management skills and a student-centric mindset.
  • Confidence in using student management systems, spreadsheets, and reporting tools.
  • A commitment to equity, cultural responsiveness, and the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
