In the People and Culture (P&C) Directorate, we are focussed on creating the best employee experience in everything we do. Our Health, Safety and Wellbeing (HSW) team provides a proactive partnering model for our business managers.

About the role | Kōrero mō te tūranga

You will support our specialists providing our Faculties and Directorates with specialist advice and support. This will include helping develop HSW improvement plans, technical guidance on risk management, incident investigation support.  Key aspects of this role will be HSW reporting and supporting the worker engagement process working with the Health and Safety committees, HSW representatives, and communications regarding safety.

The variety and complexity of our environment will expose you to unique opportunities and challenges.

About you | Kōrero mōu

You will be used to operating as a trusted advisor in a professional HSW team. You will also bring with you:

  • At least 2 years' experience in a health and safety environment demonstrating a broad range of Health and Safety experience
  • Sound experience with HSW systems and reporting
  • Demonstrated adaptability with the confidence to tackle new things.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
