Are you a fun, energetic, and creative individual with a passion for student engagement? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our vibrant team at AUT's Te Āhuru Recreation Centre in central Auckland.
We are seeking a Recreation Activity Administrator to lead and support a dynamic portfolio focused on dance programmes, arts and crafts, and front-of-house reception. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a lively environment and is passionate about creating inclusive, engaging, and memorable experiences for students.
Nga haepapa matua | Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate the delivery of dance, art, and craft programmes.
- Manage reception operations, ensuring a welcoming and supportive environment for all students.
- Collaborate with the wider recreation team to develop and promote creative student activities.
- Support the planning and execution of events that foster community, creativity, and connection.

- A vibrant personality with a flair for creativity and student engagement.
- Experience in recreation, arts, or event coordination.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A commitment to student wellbeing and inclusive practice.
- Confidence in using social media and digital tools to promote activities.
