Our Facilities Services Team is an essential function of AUT's Estates Group with a portfolio incorporating an asset base worth over $1.5 billion, with further growth planned over the next 4-5 years.
Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity
The Estates Facilities Management Specialist is a development role offering the opportunity of a future linked to the management of the built environment. As the initial point of contact, this role will undertake site investigations, resolving issues relating to the AUT Estate promptly whilst gaining knowledge and experience through escalation of issues to specialist maintenance managers.
This role will appeal to recent graduates in facilities management (FM), engineering, or property-related disciplines, or to individuals seeking a transition from a practical or trades background towards a career in FM. You'll be dealing directly with staff, students, and contractors across a wide range of building-related issues, including HVAC, Lighting and Power, Fire and Life Safety Systems and Compliance, Lifts and Escalators, Pest Control, Cleaning, Transport and Fleet, with no day the same as the next. With the close support of our existing operations team, you'll be in a prime position to grow your FM skillset first-hand.
