Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity
AUT is looking for a Sustainability Advisor to assist AUT with achieving AUT's sustainability goals as laid out in Te Kete (AUT's Strategy) and associated plans. Your data analysis and reporting, and implementation of sustainability initiatives will enable you to support this important work at AUT. Ideally, experience in undertaking sustainability data analysis and carbon reporting will mean you can provide and display data to influence positive change.
You'll be working on a variety of projects, including CO2 emissions reporting, development of a sustainability dashboard, monitoring and reporting progress on AUT's sustainability targets, analysis of specific sustainability datasets, as well as developing and implementing sustainability initiatives. This work will sometimes involve working across the university with a range of staff and students.

Skills and Experience
You will bring to the team:
- At least three years' experience in data collection, analysis, creating business intelligence reports, and dashboards
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Power BI
- Excellent Excel, writing, and data storytelling skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with sustainability data analysis, carbon reporting, and implementing sustainability initiatives is desirable
