Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity

You will use your skills and expertise to help our senior leaders make evidence-based decisions. You will perform end-to-end data analytics, including the extraction and cleaning of data and a range of analytical techniques to interrogate and summarise data through Power BI or written reports. You'll be able to critically analyse complex data to understand what it is telling you, and then translate this for others through excellent visualisation and storytelling techniques. You'll work on a range of projects, hone your skills with ongoing professional development, and know that your work is making a difference.

Skills and Experience

You will bring to the team:

  • At least three years' data analytics experience in a large, complex organisation
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of SQL and Power BI
  • Experience with statistical and data analysis
  • Excellent writing and data storytelling skills
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with predictive analytics and machine learning techniques is desirable
  • Familiarity with data warehouses is desirable
