Āu Mahi | What You Will Do

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Administration Services Manager to provide business and operational support to the Head of School, with a strong focus on finance and administration. This leadership role is central to ensuring the efficient day-to-day functioning of the School and aligning operations with strategic objectives.

You will manage the administration team, lead organisational initiatives, and foster a values-driven culture that enhances team performance, cohesion, and service excellence. Responsibilities will include:

  • Executive Support: Provide strategic and operational support to the Head of School, including planning, reporting, staffing processes, and meeting coordination.
  • Financial Management: Oversee budgets, research grants, and financial reporting; ensure accurate and efficient financial processes.
  • Administration Oversight: Manage day-to-day administrative operations, including staffing, course administration, compliance, and student services.

Mōu | Who You Are

You will be an experienced Manager with at least nine years' in a related role, as well as have:

  •  3-5 years similar experience in a tertiary education environment (desirable)
  • Proven leadership and staff management skills.
  • Strong critical thinking, planning, and time management capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills.
  • Advanced computer literacy, including Microsoft Office suite.
  • In-depth knowledge of administrative systems and procedures.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets and reports.
  • Experience working with diverse communities and fostering inclusive environments.
  • An alignment with our organisation's values and culture, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
