This is a varied and rewarding role with opportunities to support meaningful wellbeing initiatives, provide expert support for return-to-work programmes, and be a key player in a close-knit Health & Safety team that values collaboration, trust and continuous improvement.

Some tasks of the role include:

  • Coordinating the annual health monitoring and flu vaccination programmes
  • Supporting employee rehabilitation and return-to-work plans
  • Liaising with ACC, medical providers, and external wellbeing partners
  • Coordinating wellbeing activities and resources for staff
  • Maintaining H&S records and documentation, including Risk Manager
  • Providing administrative support to the Health, Safety & Wellbeing Manager

This is a permanent, part-time role (0.53 FTE, 20 hours per week) worked across five days, Monday to Friday, at our Lincoln Campus. While hours are flexible, you will be required to be onsite at least four days per week.

You will be flexible to work additional hours, with notice, to support the team during busy periods or to cover leave.

Salary: $65,000 - $70,000 per annum, depending on experience (pro rata to part time hours).

You will have:

  • At least two years' experience in a Health, Safety or Wellbeing support role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and confidence using systems and Microsoft Office
  • A proactive, organised approach to managing competing priorities
  • Knowledge of NZ H&S legislation and workplace wellbeing best practice
  • A collaborative mindset and a genuine desire to support others
