Academic Administrator

We have an exciting opportunity to appoint an innovative and efficient part-time fixed-term Academic Administrator to the Office of the Pro Vice-Chancellor, College of Health at Massey University.

What’s on offer

We are offering a part-time (30 hrs, 0.8FTE) fixed-term Academic Administrator position.  The position will commence 17 March 2025 and conclude 12 September 2025.  You can be based on the Manawatū or Wellington campus with flexible working arrangements considered.

The salary band for this role is between $48,596 and $71,027 based on skills and experience.

You will provide proactive, efficient support and excellence in the delivery of service to the Head of School, the associated school and our staff and students.

• Has demonstrated diverse administrative/ secretarial   experience in medium to large organisations, a tertiary qualification is desirable 
• Is positive, energetic, and flexible with a can-do attitude 
• Can provide outstanding customer service 
• Has excellent interpersonal skills
• Has highly competent administration skills with the ability to multi-task 
• Can follow processes and meet deadlines 
• Has high attention to detail 
• Is inclusive and approachable 
• Can adapt to a fast-paced environment
