Massey University’s Agricultural and Horticultural Enterprises are looking to appoint a General Hand at Riverside Farm. 

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are offering a fantastic role located in the Wairarapa. This position combines advanced technological farm management within New Zealand’s leading agricultural institution, along with the benefits of living in a thriving rural environment.

Riverside is located on the doorstep of Masterton and the location provides further employment and excellent schooling opportunities for families. The farm itself is 676 ha in two separate blocks and carries around 6,500 SU. The operation focuses on sheep breeding and dry stock beef finishing activities and the delivery of research services.

WHAT YOU CAN BRING

• If you have at least 5 years’ experience in tractor and machinery operation and general farm maintenance, then this opportunity will suit you.
• You will need to have a good grasp of modern farming techniques and be at the leading edge of farming innovation and technology.
