About the Role


We are seeking a highly motivated Student Experience Liaison Officer to provide information and advice to prospective and current students about our programmes and support services. This fixed-term position is available until April 2026 and offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to Massey University's vision of Te Kunenga ki Pūrehuroa—being a world leader not only in what we do but how we do it.


Te Paepoto operates as a multi-channeled Contact Centre, focused on delivering exceptional service and support to our diverse student community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for students, providing prompt and efficient information and advice.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with students and stakeholders.
  • Support students in navigating university programmes, processes, and services.
  • Work collaboratively in a team to meet service delivery goals.


What You Will Bring

  • A commitment to tangata whenuatanga and the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi, along with an ability to practice and develop the use of te reo and tikanga Māori.
  • A tertiary qualification (preferred) and/or a qualification in Contact Centre Operations (highly desirable).
  • Experience in a customer-focused environment, with strong problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to thrive in highly regulated environments, with excellent time management and resilience under pressure.
  • Demonstrated experience in building strong client relationships and delivering accurate, high-quality service.
