Āu Mahi | What You Will Do
We are seeking a Partnerships Coordinator to join our team at Kōawa Studios | UC Digital Screen School. This is a pivotal role that will help us cultivate and maintain strong relationships with our partners within the film, gaming, animation and creative technology sectors. You will play a key role in the lifecycle of our partnerships, actively managing and supporting partnerships from the initial prospecting phase through conversion, onboarding, benefit realisation, and retention.

You will be responsible for coordinating developed strategies that ensure long-term, successful partnerships. By providing operational support, managing partnership contracts, and maintaining positive relationships, you will contribute directly to the Kōawa Studios growth and reputation.

Mōu | Who You Are
To be successful in this role, you will have 4-5 years' experience in a similar administrative or project management role, with a focus on client or partnership management, and have:

  • experience and or knowledge in the film production, agency, or creative technology industries
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to develop and maintain positive, productive relationships with internal stakeholders, clients and partners
  • an understanding of the higher education environment, as well as the current and emerging screen industries, is an advantage
  • strong problem-solving and negotiation skills, with a solutions-oriented approach to challenges
  • highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure
  • a "can-do" attitude with the ability to drive initiatives and contribute to the delivery of successful partnerships
  • knowledge of and growing competence in te reo Māori or other Pacific languages and customs, is an advantage.
