Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity

We are on the lookout for a Senior Student Experience Coordinator. This role will provide a high standard of customer service, assistance, and information across a wide range of topics, helping prospective students successfully negotiate the critical information of becoming a student at the University of Auckland and connecting prospective students to specialist staff and services (as required). The main responsibilities of this role are:

  • Support team members through navigating complex issues.
  • Ensuring team members are informed of changes of systems and processes and information.
  • Mentoring staff.
  • Providing key insights to help with students’ decision making.
  • Programme and Course Advice.
  • Student administration.
  • Learning support and advice.
  • Careers support and advice.
  • Provide friendly, informative and mana enhancing services that effectively help prospective students.

The salary range for this role is $58,300 - $72,700 per annum depending on experience and qualifications.

Our preferred candidate will:

  • Have 3 - 4 years’ experience delivering high quality customer service.
  • Have 2 - 4 years’ experience working in out-bound call centres.
  • Be experienced in working with and understanding the needs of a diverse range of clients.
  • Have experience in leading process improvement and looking for continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Ability to build and grow relationships.
  • Be able to demonstrate active listening.
  • Have a good standard of oral and written communication skills.
  • Kia Whakamana i te Tangata - Acknowledge, maintain and restore the mana and tapu of individuals, whānau and communities.
