Position Overview

At Te Kūnenga ki Pūrehuroa │ Massey University we are a world-leading university in many academic disciplines and fields of research and teaching.

About the role

We are seeking a Curriculum Developer with rich experience in supporting students to achieve success through tertiary study. This position involves cross-college and cross-campus work that embeds pedagogically sound learning activities and support within key university courses and programmes. As a member of the Curriculum Transformation Unit, you will work in close partnership with other central units to drive a programme of learning and teaching enhancements, including through the development of innovative, and pedagogically sound technology-enhanced learning activities at programme and course level.

What you will bring

To succeed you will need to have not only experience in curriculum design and designing high-value learning experiences, but you will also have a passion for supporting teachers to advance their skills in online and blended learning and for supporting students to succeed. Your key attributes will include:

It will also help if you are creative, understand the importance of pet pics, coffee, good humour, and bad jokes!

You will be joining a high performing, dedicated and supportive team that works in a highly collaborative way. Relationships are key in this environment, and you will have the ability to build and maintain strong relationships in a wide variety of contexts. This position can be based in either Wellington or Palmerston North. Some travel between campuses may be required.
