The opportunity | Te Whiwhinga mahi

We have an exciting opportunity for an organised coordinator to play an integral role in the delivery of examinations for University of Auckland students. The Assessment Coordinator position coordinates support processes for students sitting end of semester examinations, provides expert advice to staff, processes results and oversees end-to-end examination processes.

Working closely with students, academic and professional staff members and internal service divisions, this role requires a high level of customer service, organisation and attention to detail to ensure a seamless student experience during a particularly stressful part of the student journey.

The role is full-time, 37.5 hours per week, permanent/fixed term role. The salary range is $50,500 - $58,000 per annum depending on experience and qualifications.

As Assessment Coordinators, you will be highly organised and capable of juggling multiple responsibilities with a keen ability to prioritise tasks. Great attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure are a must, alongside having a student-centric ethos. You will be coordinating high volumes of work for a number of different stakeholders and need to be comfortable working both independently and collaboratively with others to deliver exceptional service for our students. You will need to have a resilient personality keeping in mind the student journey and customer service focus of the role.

  • High level of oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrable ability managing high volumes and ability to prioritise effectively
  • Experience providing excellent customer service to diverse groups
  • Highly proficient using multiple systems, spreadsheets and internet applications
