Job Description:

Professional Grade 6 61643 - 87637
Students and Global Engagement
Term length: ongoing
Hours of work: full-time

Due to Covid-19 and the worldwide pandemic, we are currently only accepting applications from New Zealand Citizens, New Zealand Residents who are either residing in New Zealand or overseas OR applicants who hold a valid work visa and are currently living in New Zealand.

Position Overview

Do you have a mix of creative and production skills?

Do you love great design and well-crafted words?

Are you just as happy in a team as you are working on your own?

If you can also say yes to being amazing at stakeholder engagement, then Massey University may be where you’ll next make your mark. In this job you’ll present accurate, up-to-date University information to current and prospective students in a timely and engaging manner, to help them discover, choose and enrol with Massey. You will liaise with internal stakeholders to prepare, edit, format, and publish information in print and make it available on the web. And you will arrange for the printing, delivery and availability of printed stock and digital versions and update them as necessary.

This role is well suited to perfectionists who have an eagle eye for errors, and if you have got a knack for coming up with student-focused punning or witty headlines, all the better.

If you can also say yes to these key criteria, then apply now:

  • A high level of competence with Microsoft’s Office, InDesign and Photoshop applications is required.
  • An active working capability in current web applications.
  • Expert level understanding of web content writing and editing, web usability and web accessibility
  • Knowledge and previous experience with database applications and information management in a client service environment.
