Are you confident and self-motivated? Do you have a high level of communication, computer literacy and organisational skills as well as the ability to set priorities and achieve deadlines?

The Graduate Research School is seeking such a person to provide administrative support of the research examination processes for AUT University.  This role works in partnership with a number of teams and roles and requires flexibility and the ability to integrate individual duties with the work of others to achieve University strategic goals. Complementing the necessary management and technical skills, being successful in this role calls for advanced knowledge of the tertiary environment in general, and of postgraduate research in particular.

You will have excellent communication skills, strong work ethics and a high professional standard, seeking to enhance the customer's experience of AUT and support our students through their postgraduate journey.  You are a team player and will thrive on high short-term pressure, managing your workload to meet deadlines and team goals

 What kind of person are we looking for?

  • Should be familiar with research examination processes
  • Previous knowledge and experience of tertiary educational administration
  • Extremely organised and efficient and be an innovative problem solver who communicates exceptionally at all levels
  • Flexibility to work after-hours
  • Must have a tertiary qualification
