What You Will Do
The Student First Programme is a major Business Change Programme at the University of Canterbury to transform the student administration experience. We're offering a Graduate Software Developer the opportunity to join the University's Student First Programme team.

Who You Are
To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • a can-do and eager to learn attitude
  • an ability to work with a very diverse group of people - including our students, staff and our partners
  • willingness to learn new technologies, concepts, architectures and skills rapidly
  • the skill to work with the team to communicate technical solutions and their benefits/risks clearly to business-oriented people
  • a Computer Science degree (or completed and awaiting results), or any alternative qualification
  • a demonstrable passion for software development
  • capability to carry out code development in at least 2 languages e.g. Python, Angular, C# or similar - we're looking more for the ability to learn rather than existing super-coding skills - although they'd be cool
  • the enthusiasm to use new tools to deliver solutions rapidly.
