Student Lifecycle Team
- Full-time at 37.5 hours per week (1.0 FTE)
- Fixed term position (12 months)
What You Will Do
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Application Support Consultants within the Student Lifecycle Team. In this role, you are responsible for ensuring that Student Management Systems and related software are fully operational and maintained to support service requests. This role involves triaging tickets, applying system updates for enhancements and patches, data maintenance, problem management and queries, and report writing. You will play a pivotal role in providing advice and guidance which supports the strategic goals and functions of the Student Lifecycle portfolio, and the University.
Who You Are
As the successful candidate, you will have a Bachelor's degree in Computing, Commerce, Finance or a related discipline, as well as:
- Significant experience in supporting enterprise wide information systems within a service desk environment
- Have experience in software service delivery, including release management and testing
- Have solid experience in ITIL problem analysis and management and resolution techniques
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in business process modelling, use-case requirements gathering and writing testable requirements.
- Some knowledge and experience of tertiary education sector funding regulations and academic programmers and procedures desirable
- Demonstrating commitment to a continuous improvement model
